As one of the most environmentally friendly photovoltaic(PV) conversion equipments,aqueousprocessed CdTe nanocrystal solar cells(NC SCs) have attracted great interest in recent years because of their excellent properties such as high charge-carrier mobility and broad absorption.However,two issues including interfacial recombination and leakage current seriously restrict their performance.In this paper,insulating polymer poly(vinyl pyrrolidone)(PVP) is introduced into CdTe NC SCs to solve the problems.The experimental results of transmission electron microscopy(TEM),atomic force micro scopy(AFM) and dark current measurements,etc.,demonstrate the leakage current is effectively suppressed by introducing PVP.Through further designing device structure,the reduction of interfacial recombination after introducing PVP is confirmed.By strategically taking the advantages of PVP properties(e.g.,water solubility and thermostability),the power conversion efficiency of the devices with PVP is enhanced by almost 37% compared to pure CdTe devices.This work demonstrates an effective and low-cost method to fabricate NC SCs via aqueous route.Moreover,it also proves that appropriate content of insulating polymer is of beneficial in promoting the PV performance.  相似文献

Glasses having composition 5Li2O5ZnO xBi2O3 (90 ? x) P2O5 (x = 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 mol%) were prepared by the normal melt quenching technique. Nanocomposite glass containing bismuth phosphate BiPO4 nanocrystals was obtained, which can be attributed to homogeneous nucleation process. The formation of BiPO4 nanocrystals was confirmed and characterized by X-ray diffraction patterns (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), differential scanning calorimetry, optical absorption (UV–Vis) and micro-hardness studies. The morphological analysis by XRD and TEM microscopy showed the formation of hexagonal BiPO4 nanocrystals, and its estimated nanocrystalline sizes were found to be varying from 5.35 to 11.53 nm depending on the Bi2O3 concentrations. The density (ρ) and molar volume (V m) were also determined and found to be in compositional dependence. Glass transition temperature (T g) and glass crystallization temperature (T c) were obtained and found to be increased (from 240.0 to 337.2 °C) with increasing Bi2O3 up to 20 mol% and then decreased (from 337.2 to 331.8 °C) due to the structural changes in the glass network. Effect of BiPO4 content on the optical properties had been investigated. From the UV–Vis spectra, it was observed that the fundamental absorption edge shifts toward lower wavelengths, i.e., blueshifts with increasing Bi2O3 mol% up to 20 mol%, and then shifts toward higher wavelengths, i.e., redshifts beyond 20 mol%. It was also observed that the obtained E opt (for indirect and direct transitions) increases with gradual increase in Bi2O3 content up to 20 mol% and then decreases beyond 20 mol%. This may be due to the introduction of Bi cations into the glass network as a network former up to 20 mol% causing a decrease in ΔE values, beyond 20 mol%, the introduction of Bi ions into the glass network interstitially leads to increase the values of ΔE. The optical properties of the present nanocrystallized glasses showed a quantum size dependence, in which the optical band gap energy (E opt) was changed as a function of BiPO4 nanocrystalline sizes.  相似文献

In order to predict sediment movements in coastal environments, the interaction between these particles and turbulence should be better understood. Although previous studies have particularly shown the importance of the turbulence length scales on sediment transport for current flows, few measurements have been made on wave/current flows. The purpose of our experiments is to get a better knowledge on wave action on these characteristic length scales. For this study, in the context of a grid-generated turbulence, we aimed to describe evolution of turbulence macro and micro scales in two kinds of free surface flow. Indeed, current and wave/current flows are studied. Two data analysis techniques are used to estimate these characteristic length scales depending on flow conditions. Whereas a well-known energetic method is used for current flow, a specific analysis based on correlation measurements is lead to describe temporal evolution of turbulence length scale over the wave period. As a main result, we show that the free surface causes a vortex stretching for current flow and that turbulence length scales follow a periodic evolution with a frequency which is twice as the swell period. The turbulence length scales also depend on wave period and amplitude.  相似文献

The structural properties of the moments of the time to ruin are studied in dependent Sparre Andersen models. The moments of the time to ruin may be viewed as generalized versions of the Gerber–Shiu function. It is shown that structural properties of the Gerber–Shiu function hold also for the moments of the time to ruin. In particular, the moments continue to satisfy defective renewal equations. These properties are discussed in detail in the model of Willmot and Woo (2012), which has Coxian interclaim times and arbitrary time-dependent claim sizes. Structural quantities needed to determine the moments of the time to ruin are specified under this model. Numerical examples illustrating the methodology are presented.  相似文献
